Woodsy Catskills Wedding At Peekamoose Restaurant
It all started when Jaclyn spotted Steve from across the bar, and being the total badass that she is, she bought him a beer. That beer just so happened to be Steve's favorite beer that is brewed in his hometown. Coincidence? I don't think so. That's what I call fate.
Jaclyn and Steve's friend Brian officiated the beautiful, intimate ceremony on the patio at the Peekamoose Restaurant. After the ceremony Jaclyn and Steve's two friends, Megan and Paul acted as their witnesses and signed their marriage license. But, like all weddings, there was a little hiccup: Paul signed on the wrong line. On paper (before they crossed it out), Paul was married to Steve. It was the most hilarious moment, and as you'll see below, laughter could not be contained. Jaclyn and Steve didn't let it phase them one bit. They laughed it off, crossed out the mistake, added Jaclyn's signature, hoped for the best and laughed some more.
They took a moment to regain their composure then made their way towards the main dining room where they were formally introduced and had their first dance. As Love Letter Typewriter filled the room, Steve softly sang every word to Jaclyn as he held her close. The afternoon continued with toasts, beautiful (and delicious) vegan dishes, dancing, many more laughs, and sweet, quiet moments. Intimate weddings always win.
Intimate weddings are my jam. There's just something that feels extra special about being one of the select few present to witness two people give their lives to each other ❤️
