Colorful Jersey City Engagement Photos
When they first met, Sharon and Justin were both traveling a lot for work. It seemed like their schedules wouldn't allow them to be in the same place at the same time, so they scheduled their first date a month in advance (um, that's amazing!). As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait.
For their engagement session Sharon wanted color, murals and anything that didn't look just like everyone else's engagement photos, and Justin only had 2 rules: Sharon couldn't wear a sequin jumpsuit, and no piggy back rides. These were rules I could handle, although a sequin jumpsuit sounds pretty amazing! Jersey City and their neighborhood in The Heights provided the perfect urban background with a variety of textures and murals, including Shepard Fairey's larger than life mural, Natural Springs.

Justin had the stones reset from his mother's ring and custom designed this gorgeous minimalist engagement ring for Sharon.
