Classic New York Wedding at St. Patrick’s Cathedral
This is part one of Nicole and Scott’s wedding. Be sure to check out part two next.
Nicole originally inquired with me for her wedding in May of 2020, but I was already booked for her date. Then the pandemic hit, and everyone had to postpone. Nicole and Scott had to move their date to September 2020, but their original venue and photographer were no longer available. They had already booked my husband Dom, Simple Love Films, for videography so they asked him if he knew any photographers who were available for their September date. The universe worked its magic, as it does, and brought us back together.
From getting ready at Lotte New York Palace, to portraits in Central Park, and a ceremony at the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral; Nicole and Scott’s wedding was classic New York. The Palace’s Madison Room was the perfect backdrop for a private first look and a few quick portraits before we headed uptown to Central Park. As we made our way through the park, cheers of “congratulations!” rang out from strangers as we passed by, and we were even serenaded by a few musicians performing in the park.
Nicole and Scott’s wedding was my first at St. Patrick’s, and it will always be a favorite. Of all the times I’ve been inside St. Patrick’s, this was the first time none of the cathedral was covered up for restoration work. Inside and out, St. Patrick’s is breathtaking.
And then they were off to their reception! We drove outside of the city after the ceremony to Larchmont, New York to Nicole and Scott’s home for an elegant back yard wedding. Check out part two of Nicole and Scott’s wedding day here.
