Martha's Vineyard Wedding at Chilmark Tower House

Katie and Steve love to travel, so it only makes sense that they chose to share one of their favorite destinations with their family and friends on their wedding day. Their ceremony was held in the back yard of a beautiful private estate in Martha's Vineyard overlooking Menemsha Pond. As the ceremony began, fog rolled in off of the water and set the perfect tone as Katie walked down the aisle to The Cure's Just Like Heaven played acoustically by a 2-piece band. Katie and Steve shared their handwritten wedding vows before their guests who laughed, cried and cheered them on as they kissed for the first time as husband and wife.

After a cocktail hour full of freshly shucked oysters, rosé, lots of hugs, giant jenga and cornhole, guests made their way to the Sperry tent for the reception. Katie and Steve made their grand entrance as the band played on and their guests surrounded them smiling from ear to ear. Everyone enjoyed an amazing dinner, complete with steak, lobster rolls and New England clam chowder, as two of Katie's sisters toasted the newlyweds with their rendition of Ice Ice Baby. The band kept the dancing going all night long and a coffee truck served up fresh coffee for guests to enjoy with seasonal pies. Once everyone refueled, not a soul left the dance floor and the night went out with a bang.
