A Modern Minimalist Summer Wedding at Wave Resort
Wowweee did this wedding have style! I mean, can we just take a moment for the bride's cape!? This wedding was the modern, chic and effortlessly cool wedding of my dreams. From the stationery to the centerpieces and dried flowers to the seating chart and wedding favors, Ariana and John DIY’d it all and it just turned out so so good. They infused so much of themselves into their wedding day and if I can give any planning advice, it’s to do just that: be intentional and make it yours. After having to postpone a year due to Covid, this wedding was definitely worth the wait.
Ariana + John put so much thought into the details and decor (everything DIY’d, even the candle holders and vases!) and you can tell they had fun with it. John wanted everyone to feel like they were going to a concert, since their favorite band from college was the entertainment. The couple created a seating chart and a poster that listed all of their vendor credits like it was a show poster you’d see plastered outside of The Stone Pony.
