Garden Theme Summer Wedding at Cross and Orange Asbury Park
Sarah's sister said it best in her toast - after having to change their venue three times, Sarah and Vito landed just where they were meant to be all along: Cross & Orange in Asbury Park. It was a hot, sunny summer day in June with not a cloud in the sky, but under the trees of Kennedy Park with a breeze blowing through, it couldn't have been more perfect.
Here’s what’s happening in the next few photos: Vito handed Sarah a bouquet of flowers and said “I know you already have flowers, but I wanted to give you more.” I teared up. I think we all got a little teary.
What better to cool you down on a hot Summer day than Days Ice Cream?
Sarah and Vito shared heartfelt vows, gave each other a taste of honey (I loved this) and sealed the deal with a kiss.
Rather than a sit-down dinner, Sarah + Vito opted for a continuous cocktail reception to better fit their laid back garden themed wedding. There were passed hors d'oeuvres and a grazing table that was continuously restocked all night long.
As the sun dipped down over Cookman Avenue, everyone danced along to the live tunes played by Blue Tips Rhythm Revue. Throughout the night Sarah and Vito kept on finding their way back to each other on the dance floor. As they swayed below the string lights I caught Vito say to Sarah "I love you so much."
